The Iu Mien Scholarship Fund (IMSF) recognizes and provides financial support to outstanding Iu Mien students who are pursuing post-secondary higher education. IMSF encourages Iu Mien youth to take on leadership roles and initiate projects that benefit and positively impact the Iu Mien community. The scholarship aims to propel students to excel through ways that are not provided by conventional awards. All proceeds from this event go towards sustaining the scholarship fund.
This year, five scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school and/or GED students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to the Iu Mien community. There will be four scholarships of $1,500 and one scholarship of $2,000.
The evening will feature an Iu Mien keynote speaker, performances, a silent auction and raffle prizes.
