About IMNLL
Iu Mien Native Language Literacy (IMNLL) is a volunteer group with the following objectives:
-To preserve the Iu Mien Native Language
-To promote the usage of the New Roman orthography or unified script as the Iu Mien universal written language
-To educate Iu Mien communities about the importance of having a written language
-To encourage Iu Mien community leaders and educators to support, advocate, and promote the usage of the Iu Mien written language
-To use this orthography or written system to record all important things in Iu Mien. In many situations, there are no equivalent terms in Iu Mien to translate to other languages and vice versa. Therefore, we need to record everything that is Iu Mien in our native language, in order to maintain as much original meanings as possible.
